As the Academy of Preachers ventures beyond our tried and true home turf for the 2013 National Festival of Young Preachers in Atlanta, GA, a major challenge will be finding excellent volunteers. The standard for volunteers was set high during the previous Festivals. Last January in Louisville, the commitment of the Middletown Christian Church team glowed each day of the event. So who will step up and make themselves available for the task January 2-4 at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead?
If you live in the Atlanta area, or know dedicated folks who do, please consider the volunteer roles needed to make a successful National Festival of Young Preachers. Contact Festival Manager Debbie Moody at 859-494-1000 or debbie@academyofpreachers.net
First a local on-site coordinator is needed to organize and help train volunteers in advance and be available during the Festival to coordinate and answer questions. This is obviously a big job, but one with lots of support from the Academy of Preachers Team. Staff members will come to Atlanta to conduct the training and be ready to answer questions.
