Embassy Suites of Lexington, on Newtown Pike, will be the site of the 2017 National Festival of Young Preachers.
“This is a newer property,” explains AoP Executive Director Wyndee Holbrook, “and is perfect for our event: lots of open space, first floor ballrooms, plenty of amenities, and the feel of outdoor living.”
Embassy Suites is located at the intersection of Newtown Pike (KY 922) and Interstate 75. This location breaks with AoP tradition of locating in a center city and thus is not within walking distance of any sanctuary. The schedule, however, calls for two noon time travels by chartered bus to local churches for a meal and Festival events.
Asbury Theological Seminary, Truett Seminary at Baylor University, and Gardner Webb University have signed on as Lead Sponsors of the National Festival. Sponsorship options for other schools and organizations is now available elsewhere on this web site.
Registration for the National Festival will open on AoP Day, June 23.
The Festival will be in Lexington for the second year before moving to Atlanta for 2018. No hotel has yet been identified for Atlanta.
