Any young person between the ages of 14 and 28 who sense God’s calling to a vocation of Gospel Preaching may attend the 2013 National Festival of Young Preachers. Some of the young people who preach at the National Festival have been preaching for years, while some will deliver a sermon for the very first time!

Whether you fall into the first or second category (or somewhere in between), your voice is welcomed. When you arrive at the National Festival of Young Preachers, you’ll be placed in a Preaching Circle with other Young Preachers.

Throughout the event, you will attend each other’s sermons and provide each other with encouragement and feedback. During the National Festival, you’ll be scheduled to deliver one 16-minute (or less) sermon based on the preaching theme Gospel and the City. At the 2013 National Festival of Young Preachers, you’ll also have the opportunity to worship, attend workshops, listen to sermons from seasoned preachers, and talk to other young people from a variety of Christian traditions and backgrounds.
