Ever since I purchased my Flip video camera I have been recording interviews with people (students, professors, preachers, etc) about the Festival of Young Preachers. So far, I have up-loaded onto our Facebook site (Academy of Preachers) videos from Campbellsville University, Fisk University, and Oakland City University.
Coming in the next few days are videos from Trevecca Nazarene and Vanderbilt. And today I am going to make several more, including four short videos on site at the St. Matthews Baptist Church. These will show the four venues in the church building which we will use for preaching during the Festival of Young Preachers.
They are all short: 30-90 seconds, and are enjoyable to watch. They capture the eagerness of so many people for the coming Festival of Young Preachers (January 7-9, 2010, in Louisville, Kentucky).
Fans of our Academy of Preachers now number more than 100 on Facebook; you can visit the site and sign on as a Fan. Better yet: contact a young person (ages 16-28) and speak with him or her about the Festival. We are limited to 100 preaching slots and they will fill up with young preachers from all over the country.
