Spring Festival of Young Preachers at Belmont University
Preaching with a Gospel Voice:
Where are the words of Jesus?
March 26, 2022
Join us Saturday, March 26, 2022 for a day of preaching at Belmont University! Our theme for this festival is “Preaching with a Gospel Voice: Where are the Words of Jesus?” The Academy of Preachers exists to inspire young men and women in their call to gospel preaching because we believe preaching changes the world. We are supporting the next generation of young men and women who will preach in churches all across America.
Founded in 2010, the Academy of Preachers has created an opportunity for more than a thousand young preachers to preach their first sermons, receive encouraging feedback, and take the next steps in their vocation. These festivals are designed to give everyone a chance to preach so there is a place for you!
We also offer opportunities for you to grow in your preaching skills through our PreachingCraft classes which we hold for each festival. When we gather on March 26th, you can choose among four PreachingCraft classes:
- What is the Gospel? The Gospel Voice in the New Testament
- Hearing the Words of Jesus? How to Preach the Words of Jesus
- How Does the Gospel Change Culture? The Gospel and Social Justice
- The Gospel and the Art of Worship
Each participant in our Festival of Young Preachers will preach a sermon and participate in preaching circles with five peers to learn from each other and to encourage each other. An experienced preacher will listen to you preach and give you feedback and specific encouragement for improvement.
Join on March 26th and discover your Gospel Voice!
